Hello guest
Your basket is empty
You think you’ve had a quiet year, then you reflect and realise how much you’ve squeezed in! We have so much to be proud of and grateful for, particularly all the people we’ve met and get to help.

Thank you to all our friends, clients and colleagues for being with us along the way, we are truly grateful for your support and love sharing this journey with you!

Our fantastic clients have continued to amaze us, challenging themselves above and beyond, taking part in events ranging from the Commonwealth Games to Ultras, marathons to 10ks, triathlons to European Chamionships and everything in-between. We’ve seen many injuries - and recoveries. Countless inspirational stories have been shared with us. Thank you all.

We welcomed Kimberley Durrant to the team in June who is doing an amazing job in Simply Gym with John. It was congratulations all round as Caroline successfully completed her level 5 qualification, doing extremely well in all her practical exams, whilst Harry has almost completed his MSc. Amy is seeing record number of clients in our Hinckley gym which merged with Places Leisure Centre so it’s going to be an exciting 2019 for our Hinckley site. We also had an old friend, Chris Wood, join our Quadrant team on a Saturday while he continues his Physiotherapy degree at Keele University.

Our team get-togethers are always great fun and this year was even better! We all took the day off and went to Birmingham for a game of Ghetto Golf, which Harry won of course, but we loved it! We enjoyed an evening of rugby league courtesy of Coventry Bears. We attended the meeting at the Ricoh Arena along with many sports clubs to brainstorm ideas for Coventry being the Euorpean City of Sport 2019.

Tanya and John took on the Heart of England Forest Marathon raising money for Pass The Smile, it was a tough one but we made it and met a lot of lovely people along the way.

We’ve volunteered at lots of events too, including the Leicester 10k, Coventry Sprint Tri, Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon, Two Castles 10k, Arden 9, Myton Cycle Challenge and the Leamington half marathon. We’ve also been massaging at school fayres and pamper evenings, including Zoe’s Place Spring Fayre, Park Hill Primary, Pattison’s College, Queen’s Road Baptist Church and the Sumner Malik charity event.

We’ve tried to give something back this year, and in addition to supporting charity events with massages, we helped raise money for Myton Hospices, Macmillan, Stratford Rotary, The Lily-Mae Foundation, Rosie’s Rainbow Pantry and last but not least Pass The Smile, a very special cause close to our hearts.

We had our 10 year birthday this December and celebrated by getting special Fire & Earth chocolate made..it is our birthday after all! We feel very lucky to have got to this great age and look forward to the next 10 years, watch this space!

We started a level 3 sports massage academy in March which we has been so much fun, we have loved sharing our knowledge and teaching eager learners. We also started injury prevention classes at King Henry VIII school, helping people become sronger, more mobile and injury free.

We invested in a new diary and online booking system to make it easier for you come and see us. We’ve blogged, tweeted, posted and made more video’s - and there’s more where that came from. If you haven’t found us already we are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, please give us a follow!

So what does 2019 hold?

We are very excited for 2019, John and Tanya will be doing the Coventry Half, Harry will complete his MSc., Amy will be starting new injury prevention classes and Kimberley and Caroline are getting back into their sports. We are going to make more videos full of advice and exercises to help you at home. We’ll be running more level 3 sports massage courses, plus injury preventionn classes and we are looking forward to generally doing More Good Stuff.

We’re excited to see what you get up to and where we all are next year!
